Leadership Development
We have three leadership development programs at BCLC intended to nurture emerging leaders and further develop current leaders. Annually select staff are asked to be part of the Leadership Essentials and Emerging Leaders programs. Having graduated through the first two modules, staff can apply to participate in the 18 month UBC Sauder School of Business & BCLC Business Leadership Program.
In-House Learning
BCLC has a library of hundreds of eLearning courses available through our intranet anytime, anywhere and monthly lunch and learn sessions open to all staff. We allocate resources specifically for professional development in-role and promote formal and informal cross-functional learning opportunities such as secondments and shadowing.
Further Education
We also encourage our staff to drive their own thirst for knowledge. We assist through tuition subsidies and professional accreditation support.
