The Team

 

Joining the Business Technology team at BCLC means you’ll be working with cutting-edge technology to help build a world-class entertainment company. This is an innovative, capable group of talented individuals working in Digital Development, Delivery Services, Data Enablement & Automation, Technology Platform Enablement, Technology Operations Enablement, Enterprise Services, and Cyber Security. This enables us to execute the purchase and validation of lottery tickets at over 3400 lottery retailers, manage a complex network of 12,000 slot machines and electronic table games across the province and provide the backbone for BCLC’s iGaming platform, and much more.

The Cyber Security team is at the forefront of protecting BCLC’s critical digital assets, safeguarding sensitive data, and ensuring business continuity. We have external partnerships with law enforcement, cybersecurity organizations and other gambling jurisdictions across North America. This group of dedicated security professionals help safeguard sensitive data, uphold customer trust, and navigate complex compliance landscapes. The Role


As the Product Manager for Cybersecurity Incident Response within our Security Operations (SecOps) team, you will lead a high-performing, Agile team dedicated to safeguarding BCLC’s digital assets across our platforms. Reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity, you will drive the strategic direction of incident response capabilities, lead external partnerships in defense coordination, optimize security toolsets, and foster a culture of proactive defense and collaboration across the organization.

 

What you will accomplish


•    Define and execute the mission and vision of the SecOps team, aligning with Google’s Autonomic Security Operations principles and agile methodologies.
•    Coach and mentor Agile team members, fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth.
•    Develop and maintain robust incident response processes and playbooks using modern security technologies.
•    Promote best practices across BCLC’s product teams through proactive engagement and knowledge sharing.
•    Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of security tools; champion workflow automation to enhance operational efficiency.
•    Collaborate with internal teams, external partners & vendors, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
•    Manage team budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships to support operational needs.

 

Qualifications & skills 


•    A post-secondary degree in business administration, information technology management or a related discipline;
•    5 to 7 years of relevant technical experience.
•    A combination of education, experience, and demonstrated skills may be considered.
