The Team
Join BCLC as a Senior Specialist, Audit Services — and help shape the future of governance, risk, and compliance. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead and support strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives — with a focus on Service Organization Controls (SOC) and Information Technology General Controls (ITGC). You’ll conduct independent evaluations of IT risks, systems, and internal controls, driving meaningful improvements that enhance operational performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you’ll work across departments to identify key risks, assess control effectiveness, and champion innovative solutions. Your insights will directly influence decision-making and strengthen BCLC’s control environment — all while contributing to our broader assurance strategy and social purpose.
You’ll be part of a high-performing team that reports directly to both the CEO and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Our work is grounded in the mandatory elements of the Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA) International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), including the Core Principles, Code of Ethics, and International Standards.
At BCLC — a Crown corporation generating over $2.5 billion in annual revenue — we’re more than just a business. We’re a purpose-driven organization committed to giving back to British Columbia. Join us and make a lasting impact.
The Role

Your work will directly support BCLC’s reputation and business objectives, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
