Technology Security Analyst for Technology Security Enablement


As a Technology Security Analyst…..

You will be part of a team focused on building solutions that enable teams to effectively ensure their environments, platforms and applications are secure.  You will use your knowledge in deployment technologies, identity and access, vulnerability management, and malware defense systems and combine them with your skills in scripting and automation to support all activities necessary to enable the organization to operate on a secure computing environment.

For this role you bring the following qualifications….

  • Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services for Identity and Access Management (IAM), End Point Protection, Deployment Management, and Vulnerability Management
  • Continually review and automate processes to create efficiencies related to technology security management
  • Evaluate and support complex IAM and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.
  • Communicate the technical security aspects of both the production support and maintenance at the technical and functional level to maintain or resolve a technical situation.
  • Participate as a subject matter expert, analyzing solutions, processes and infrastructure, and recommending appropriate technical security controls to support the delivery of solutions from BCLC’s Agile teams.
  • Coordinate technical security activities with business stakeholders, providing information to security governance.
  • Provide information on system configurations, accounts and information security practices to auditors and regulators


What we are looking for in the role (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in managing platforms and processes for Identity Management including directory services, public key infrastructure, privileged identity management, multi factor authentication and/or;
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in managing platforms and processes for End Point Protection including deployment management, malware defense systems, vulnerability scanners;
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and configuring one or more of the following platforms is considered and asset: Palo Alto Traps, Microsoft SCCM, Ivanti Patch Management, Microsoft Active Directory, Entrust DataCard mPKI;
  • Relevant certifications in Information Security, Systems Administration and/or Identity Management (e.g. CISSP, MCSA, CIAM, etc.);
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven technical leader with solid system administration skills;
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors and contractors.
